Question: Vietnam visa fee for U.S. citizen
Hello. I am a U.S. citizen temporarily living in Bangkok. My girlfriend and I are trying to go to Vietnam in the next two months and obtain a tourist visa. We were wondering if you could tell us exactly how much that would cost with fees and everything? Thank you.
Dear David Chipkin,
Thank you for contacting us.
We would like to confirm that United States passport holders are able to apply for tourist visa to Vietnam. Kindly note that you can fill in the online visa application and complete the payment online.
OR simply send us your passport scan via an email together with confirming your arrival date, type of visa you wish to apply for so that we can send back an confirmation email with payment link.
For your information, with visa on arrival (air travellers only), it normally takes up to 2 working days (excepts weekends) to process your visa application and once it is approved by Vietnam Immigration Department, a visa approval letter will be sent to you via email. With this letter, you will be able to fly to Vietnam and get your official visa stamped at any Vietnam international airports.
Kindly note that the processing fee will be paid in advance for us while the stamping fee (in cash) will be paid directly to Immigration Officer up on your arrival at the airport; you can check the processing fee in our website. We are running special discounted until 09 Feb 2017.
We hope that the above information is helpful for you.
Should you need any further support, feel free to contact us.
