Question and Answer
Promptly and conscientiously
I would like some information on how to apply for a visa for entering Vietnam this summer. I live in Edinburgh and will not be able to travel to the Embassy before I travel.
Is it possible to apply by post? Is the collection of visa on arrival reliable?
Hi Mr. Duckitt,
Thank you for your email.
Have you got the estimated date that you would visit Vietnam yet? For your information, from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016, nationals of the United Kingdom are exempt for a Vietnam visa within 15 days single entry regardless of passport types and purpose of visit. To enjoy the visa free, the new entry date must be more than 30 days from your last exiting date in Vietnam. After 30 June, this decree will be reviewed and the Government will decide either to stop or to extend its validity. Therefore please confirm us your travel plan for further advice.
In any cases that you do need a visa to enter Vietnam, as an expert in Vietnam visa services with more than 10 years of experience, we can confirm you that we are able to support you to get Vietnam visas on arrival. It only takes up to 2 working days to process your visa application and once it is approved by Vietnam Immigration Department, you will receive a visa approval letter, which allows you to fly to Vietnam and obtain the official visa stamps in your passports at any Vietnam's international airports.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
