Question: Getting Vietnam tourist visa in New York

Hello,
I have a question regarding the Tourist Visa for Vietnam.
I am an italian citizen that currently live in the United States, in New York, cause I’m a student here.

 

This summer I am going back to my country, Italy, and then from there I am going to Vietnam for vacation.
Which is the easiest way for me to get the Tourist Visa as soon as possible?
Can I apply for the online procedure and get the visa stamp when I will get there in Hanoi?

 

Or is better for me to come over the vietnamese embassy in New York?

We would like to inform you about two common ways to apply Vietnam visa as follows.


1/Apply Vietnam visa from Embassy/Consulate of Vietnam aboard (applicable for all travellers to Vietnam by air, land and sea):

You must go to Vietnamese representative offices aboard to apply visa to Vietnam in person and you will receive your visa stamped into your passport prior to your departure. Kindly contact them for visa procedure and fees. Please visit our website here to find your nearest Embassy/Consulate of Vietnam.


2/Apply Vietnam visa on arrival (applicable for air travellers to Vietnam):
