Question and Answer
Promptly and conscientiously
I am from Perú and I´m going to Hanoi on August 23th, with my cousin, and we would like to take your services to get the visa for Vietnam.
I´m taking a flight from Bangkok, but I´m going to exit the country aproximately 7 days later, by land, crossing the border in Cambodia.
My question is: Is that a problem to get the visa? Do I need to exit the same way I entered the country? Do I have to know the exact day of leaving on advance?
Thank you very much,
Dear Francis Patino Geldres,
Thank you for your email.
This is to inform that if you apply visa on arrival, only your first port of entry must be international airports in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh or Da Nang since you will receive your visa stamped into your passport there upon your arrival in our country. Later you can use such visa to exit Vietnam by land or sea without problem.
It is not necessary to know exactly the date of exit but you should estimate the latest date you will stay in Vietnam so as to choose the most suitable type of visa for your schedule.
