Da Nang listed in top 10 Asia’s Fresh Destinations

March 20, 2014 0 COMMENT

Recently, –Da Nang listed in top 10 Asia’s Fresh Destinations one of Asia’s leading hotel booking sites, has released its fourth annual Asia’s Fresh Destinations list, marking some of Asia’s hottest emerging travel stops which includes Da Nang City of Viet Nam.

To finalize the selections on the fourth iteration of its yearly list,’s editorial team studied complex booking patterns, read customer reviews, and worked closely with its hotel teams on the ground.

The stressed the Fresh Destinations is a list of places that saw a boom in travelers, attracted a large amount of expert travelers (i.e. those who travel frequently to new destinations), and where genuine, unfiltered travel experiences are easy to find despite the rising popularity of the destination.

According to the website, at first glance Da Nang doesn’t seem like much, but that’s changing fast. New hotels and shopping areas are being built, and money is being spent fast on infrastructure improvements. Nearby UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as My Son Sanctuary and the Hoi An Ancient Town are major draws, and visitors can hike in the lush Marble Mountains, surf at the famous Non Nuoc Beach, explore caves, visit museums, and of course, partake in excellent Vietnamese cuisine.

In addition to Da Nang (Viet Nam), list of top 10 Asia’s Fresh Destinations in 2014 includes Mandalay (Myanmar), Kenting (Taiwan), Okinawa (Japan), Lombok (Indonesia), Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia), Osaka (Japan), Chiang Rai (Thailand), Perth (Australia) and Da Nang (Viet Nam).
