Update Vietnam Visa and destinations during coronavirus outbreak
Because the situation of coronavirus international outbreak becomes more complicated, some destinations in Vietnam announced temporary closures. And the list of Vietnam visa exemption countries changed following that some European countries temporarily had to apply for a visa to enter Vietnam. DESTINATIONS CLOSE
Ha Long Bay: The people’s committee Quang Ninh province announced the closing of tourist places including Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay Yen Tu and Co To Island. According to that, these places close from 12:00 March 12 to March 26, 2020.
Ninh Binh: Trang An Eco-Tourism Complex closed from March 13 to March 26, 2020. Hoa Lu Complex also closes in a short time to clean and disinfect all areas.
Con Dao Island: From 15:00 March 10, Con Dao pauses all travel activities on the island, close to prevent the spreading of Coronavirus outbreak.
Hoi An Town: Hoi An has just announced that the ancient town closed from 12 March to 31 March, some tourist sites such as Tra Que herb village, Thanh Ha pottery village and Cham Island also closed from 10 March.
Ly Son Island: closed from 8 March
Phu Quy Island, Cat Ba Island: closed from 10 March
