What is visa extension and what is visa renewal?

Visa extension allows you to stay in Vietnam longer without leaving out. Once you apply this, there will be a new extension visa stamp showing your new date of exit.

Visa renewal also lets you stay in Vietnam longer. By this method, a new visa page and a new visa stamp will be sticked on your passport. The cost for renewal, as the result, is often higher than extension since the stamp fee and visa sticker fee are required.

The requirements to extend or renew visa are as follows:

  • உங்கள் பாஸ்போர்ட் நீட்டிப்பு/புதுப்பித்தல் நேரத்திலிருந்து குறைந்தது 06 மாதங்களுக்கு செல்லுபடியாகும்.
  • உங்கள் பாஸ்போர்ட்டில் குறைந்தபட்சம் 02 வெற்று பக்கங்கள் உள்ளன;
  • The foreign passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the time of renewal/re-issuance and has at least 2 blank pages;
  • Vietnam business visa is still valid and valid for use;
  • Foreigners staying in Vietnam must have a paper or book confirming temporary residence registration;
  • Foreigners are required to have a company or organization in Vietnam to guarantee the application;
  • Foreigners during their stay in Vietnam do not violate Vietnamese law.
