質問： Not sure the exact date of entry ?
I am traveling to Vietnam on standby and I am not definite on the arrival time at the airport or even the day. Will this be a problem.

Dear James Callaway,This is to confirm that your visa will be valid from the date of arrival you applied and lasts 1 month or 3 months depending on your visa type. If you entry Vietnam later but exit before expiration date on visa, it is definitely acceptable. However, if you travel Vietnam sooner or entry and stay later than the visa validity, you have to apply a new visa to amend this information.
Suggested solutions for your uncertainty about your date arrival can be:
1. You can apply for 3 months visa instead of 1 month. Therefore, your visa validity lasts longer.
2. When you are sure about your arrival date, you can apply for urgent process (4 or 8 working hours) instead of standard process of 2 working days. However, it is noticed that this urgent process is not applied for Saturday and Sunday and our national holidays.
For these two suggestions, a little higher fee is required to pay.
