Hallo, ich erkundige mich nur nach einem einmonatigen Visum für die einmalige Einreise für zwei britische Staatsbürger. Können wir den Antrag stellen, sobald wir in Vietnam sind, oder muss dies im Voraus erfolgen? Wie viel würde das kosten? Wir werden zuerst nach Thailand reisen. Können wir dort den Stempel bekommen?

This is to confirm you that as United Kingdom passport holder, vietnam visa on arrival is surely valid for you if you travel to Vietnam by airline.
However, vietnam visa on arrival is quite different from others. It is required to apply online first to get the pre-approval letter issued by Vietnam Immigration Department. Once you get this letter via email, print out of this letter to check-in and get visa stamp at Vietnam airport. It means that there is no way for you to get Vietnam visa stamp in Thailand if you decide to use visa on arrival.
