Frage: Beantragen Sie ein Touristenvisum für Vietnam für russische Staatsbürger
Lieber Herr:
Mein Sohn, der russischer Staatsbürger ist, ständig in der Mongolei lebt, reist im Juli für 17 Tage nach Vietnam, um an einem Kinderlager teilzunehmen.
Was ist der beste Weg, um ein Visum zu bekommen?
Soweit ich weiß, benötigen russische Staatsbürger 15 Tage lang kein Visum. Ist es möglich, bei der Ankunft ein Visum für 2 Tage zu erhalten? Oder ist es besser, es aus der Mongolei zu bekommen?

We would like to confirm that your son will need to apply for a 1 month-single entry visa for his 17-day trip to Vietnam before entering Vietnam. For your case, there are two common ways to apply for a tourist visa to Vietnam as follows:
1. Applying for Vietnam Visa at Vietnam Embassies/Consulates (effective for all citizens and all borders in Vietnam): Please go to the Embassy/Consulate of Vietnam abroad to apply the visa in person. Kindly contact them for detailed procedure and fees. You can visit here to find the one that nearest your place.
2. Applying for Vietnam Visa on Arrival with www.vietnamvisa.org.vn (applicable for air travellers only): If you are flying to Vietnam, you may consider to apply for visas on arrival. You can einreichen hier Ihre Online-Visa-Antrag, oder senden Sie uns bitte Ihren Passscan und bestätigen Sie uns Ihr Ankunftsdatum und die Art des Visums, das Sie für weitere Unterstützung beantragen möchten.
Kindly note that with the second option, Russian passport holders are exempted from the stamping fee when you get the official stamped into your passport at Vietnam international airports. Therefore, you only need to make a payment for the processing fee.
