친애하는 베트남 비자
We are planning to visit Vietnam late December 2014, but do not know exactly on which date we will enter Vietnam. How should we state this on the visa application form? Should we give the earliest possible date? Is it permitted to enter Vietnam on another date than the one stated on the visa application?

Dear Elisabeth Chardon,

Your visa approval will be valid from the date of arrival that you provide us and lasts 1 month or 3 months depending on your visa type you want. If you entry Vietnam later but exit before expiration date on visa, it is definitely acceptable. However, if you travel Vietnam sooner, you are imposed a fine to change your date of arrival on your visa.
따라서 일정이 확정되면 비자를 신청하여 변경이 발생할 수 있는 것을 방지하는 것이 좋습니다. 또한 8시간 또는 4시간 근무의 특급 서비스를 이용하여 짧은 시간 내에 비자를 받을 수 있습니다.
