Vietnam Visa in United States?
APPLY VIETNAM VISA IN UNITED STATES
If you are American or citizens of countries that are not included in the visa exemption list, you are required to get a valid Vietnam visa for your trip to Vietnam.
There are two ways to apply Vietnam visa in United States:
1. Apply Vietnam Visa at Vietnam Embassies/Consulates:
* No queuing at Vietnam airport
* Effective for all borders in Vietnam (air, land or sea)
* Procedure: Please visit Vietnam Embassy/Consulate in the United States (details below) to apply for the visa. Original passport is required and it might take around 4-5 working days for processing. You are advised to contact them in advance for the detailed requirements of each nationality.

2. Apply Vietnam Visa on Arrival with Vietnamvisa.org.vn
+ Only valid for those travelling by air
+ More convenient if you live far away from Vietnam Embassies/Consulates in the United States and/or do not wish to send your passport off.
+ Procedure:
- Submit the online application form and make payment;
- Wait for 2 working days (standard service) to get your Visa Approval Letter via email and print it out. (URGENT service within 8, 4 or 2 working hours are also available).
- Upon arrival at Vietnam airport, you need to show the letter, your passport, 01 passport photo and pay stamping fee in cash to get Vietnam visa stamped into your passport.
